Seems decent enough

The installation seemed easy for the electrician who came to install 2 units: 1 in the hallway and 1 in the bathroom. Both seemed to be working well, but since winter is over, the real test will be how well they perform next winter. Our electrician said to leave the heater on for a few hours following installation to burn off some oils from the factory. Overall, the heater and thermostat units are cheap $60 each compared to the labor to install ($200). I suppose if you were handy enough yourself, it would be a very cheap, no brainer solution, but adding the cost of a professional to install, it may have been better to just use a heat dish on those very cold nights. The only solace is that the units look good where they are installed.

I put this in a bathroom that’s 150 square feet. Two of the room’s Insulated walls Are exposed to the outside. The average winter temperatures in my city is about 25F. For only 500 watts, this heater manages to keep the room at a comfortable level. The room soes not get hot but that wasn’t my intent. We just wanted to take the edge off the cold. It does A good deal more than that! I bought the optional single pole integrated thermostat. That way we can turn it off if needed or adjust the temperature.

This is a good product. Installed it under my bathroom window (at floor level) and it has eliminated the cold penetration though the west wall and window. Makes taking shower much more enjoyable. Used separate installed on board thermostat to control.

Heat for a COLD Room
Reviewed in the United States on February 23, 2013
After reading the reviews, I had a professional electrician install the baseboard. I also purchased the thermostat which is critical so that you can set the heat and he installed it as well.
It is 500 watts so it doesn't take much electricity and it works great. Not only that it IS MADE IN AMERICA!!! I always worry about products from China, and a baseboard that is not well constructed can cause major problems.
So this one doesn't cause blowouts like the other brand did, it keeps the room warm, and it doesn't use a lot of electricity. Overall, it was a great purchase.

Our room is kept the perfect temp automatically with no fuss

Used this with the thermostat and removed our hot water baseboard heating in our bathroom in favor of this one. It is under our wall mount vanity and not visible to anyone using the bathroom unless you get down on the floor or look across the room from in the tub. Our room is kept the perfect temp automatically with no fuss.
